French toast

INGREDIENTS

• 2 eggs
• 1/8 cup / 30 ml of milk
• 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar
• 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
• Pinch of salt
• 1 tea spoon of vanilla
• 6 thick slices of bread
• Oil and butter to toast
• Icing sugar to sprinkle

METHOD

• Crack the eggs into a bowl
• Add milk, granulated sugar, vanilla, cinnamon powder and salt to the bowl
• Whisk them until the ingredients are mixed well
• Heat a pan and add cooking oil & butter
• When the butter is becoming golden color, dip the both sides of slice in the egg mixture and put that to your pan to toast
• Let one side of the slice toast for few seconds and flip it over without burning (when the slice become golden brown color)
• Continue the same procedure by dipping in the egg mixture and toasting the rest of the slices.
• Sprinkle some icing sugar over it after all are toasted and taste with your loved ones
