Corn bread



INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cup / 125 g of yellow corn meal / corn flour
  • 1 cup / 120 g of all purpose flour
  • 1 & 1/4 cup of whole milk / butter milk
  • 3 table spoons of melted butter / oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 & 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 1/3 cup / 70 g of granulated sugar
METHOD
  • Combine cornflour, all purpose flour, salt, baking powder and granulated sugar & mix well
  • Crack the eggs to the above mixture, add milk & mix well
  • After it is mixed well pour the melted butter / oil to the baking pan, spread it in the bottom of the pan and add your corn flour batter to it
  • Bake it in a preheated oven at 400 degrees F to 18 - 20 minutes.
