Chili paste



INGREDIENTS
  • 60 g of chili flakes
  • 50 g of finely chopped onion
  • 50 g of small dried shrimp
  • 1 table spoon of vinegar
  • 1 table spoon of soy sauce
  • Pinch of sugar
  • 1 tea spoon of salt
  • 1/2 cup / 115 ml of cooking oil
  • 1 stalk of finely chopped celery
  • 25 g of ginger finely chopped
  • 25 g of garlic finely chopped
METHOD
  • Heat a pan with some oil and fry the small dried shrimp, finely chopped onion, garlic, ginger and celery separately
  • After frying, grind them to a paste and put into a separate dish
  • Add the chili flakes to the pan and add oil on top of it
  • Add the grinned mixture to the pan and mix them well
  • Add sugar, salt, vinegar, soy sauce to the pan 
  • Mix them well until all ingredients are combined for 1-2 minutes in low flame
  • You can taste your chili paste with pasta, noodles, fried rice and with many more dishes
Chili paste is a food recipe which is made out of chili flakes, soy sauce and many other spices , where this food can be stored for some period without poisoning. This is a side dish which can be used with fried rice and many other Chinese foods as well as many south Asian foods which makes your taste buds feel like heaven. And also this is a easy recipe which can be made so easily.
