Old fashioned Cherry cake

INGREDIENTS

• 10 ounce/280 g of flour
• 230 g of sugar
• 230 g of butter
• 5 eggs
• 230 g of cherries
• 1 tea spoon of vanilla extract
• 2 tea spoons of baking powder

METHOD

• Put butter and sugar to a bowl and beat it well
• Then add 1 egg and 1 spoon of flour & mix it for a while and beat it well
• Likewise add all the eggs and flour to the above butter and sugar mixture and mix well
• After mixing add finely chopped cherries, vanilla extract and baking powder and mix 
• Oil the bottom of the baking tray and pour the mixture into the baking tray and bake for 1 hour
