Dates pudding


INGREDIENTS

  • 200 g /1 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1 table spoon of butter
  • 130 g  / 1 cup of dates
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • whipped cream
  • 130 g / 1 cup of water
  • 130 g /1 cup of flour
  • 2 table spoon of baking powder
  • 64 g / 1/2 cup of milk
METHOD
  • Heat a saucepan and add 1 cup or 128 g of sugar and water to it 
  • Stir it until the sugar become caramel
  • Remove from heat and add butter
  • Add flour, baking powder, salt and 1/2 cup or 64 g of sugar to a bowl 
  • Mix them by adding milk to the bowl and make a smooth batter 
  • Add dates to the mixture
  • Preheat the oven at 350 degrees
  • Pour the syrup in to a baking pan / a tray
  • Add the batter and bakes for 45 minutes
  • Serve with whipped cream to your loved ones
